The mission of the Foundation is to support the growth of resilient communities – with a particular focus on the wellbeing of children and young people – and contribute to environment sustainability in Ireland and overseas.

Our Purpose
The charitable purpose of the Foundation is to support charitable causes in furtherance of the charitable objectives set out in the Foundation’s Trust Deed, which include:
hardship & inquality relief
to promote the relief of disease, economic hardship, food poverty and inequality in Ireland and in any other part of the world, thereby improving the lives of individuals and communities.
recovery & resilience
to promote society recovery and resilience following the COVID pandemic in Ireland with particular focus on the needs of children/young people and the elderly.
climate change & sustainability
to address the issues of climate change and environmental sustainability in the State and elsewhere through the promotion of research, public advocacy, and demonstration projects.
education & research
to advance education and scientific research in Ireland and elsewhere.
ireland's heritage
to promote and protect Ireland’s heritage in arts, culture, the physical environment, and spirituality.
The above objects will be achieved by the making of donations, providing strategic grants and working in a collaborative manner with organisations whose ethos, approach and objectives are aligned with those of the Foundation.
